I am definitely getting the ebooks. I have to admit I wasn't looking for a Russian wife when I started my search, but I think I will eventually choose this route. I am saving up now, as I did not realize all of the expenses involved. I don't mean to sound broke, cause I am not, but I don't want to fall in love with someone and have to wait to get her here while I get another car, pay immigration lawyers etc... I just want it to happen quickly when I am ready.

Two years ago your agency published my photo and I got numerous letters from men. Almost from the very beginning I started to correspond with one man with whom, this year I married. We are very happy and first toast on our wedding ceremony we propose to your agency, which helped us to meet each other. After getting my fill of American women I decided that I wanted something different, where else to look for something than the Internet? I searched and found some results after looking through, I found your Russian bride agency, Pretty Russian Woman! I looked through the site and profiles, but one for some reason one stood out, Zhanna's photo and profile, but yet I did not send a letter, I guess you could say I got obsessed with her, I would look at her profile and photos almost everyday.

Finally after about two or three weeks I got tired of being alone, so I wrote her a letter straight from my heart and sent a photo with some flowers, I had it translated at your Russian bride agency to show some charity. I waited and waited, I thought she had ignored my letters, I thought that I was never going to get a reply from her, then after maybe a month and a half to two months of waiting I was surprised to find in my inbox a letter from Zhanna!

I could not contain my excitement, I found it difficult to calm myself to write her an appropriate letter rather than one that was spur-of-the-moment from being excited. We continued to write each other for about six months, which during that time we continually talked about meeting each other, about ourselves and what we looked for in life. For her birthday I sent her a box with a CD player with two CDs of my favorite music and a teddy bear that smelt of my cologne. She loved it, and held the bear every night.

August 30, 2001, after the six months of writing letters and maybe three short and bad phone calls (I say bad because she hadn't learned a lot of English and I hadn't learned a lot of Russian either. Also, the awkwardness of not finding something to get a good flow of conversation going) we meet with a hug and tears in Moscow. Zhanna was very worried about me because I got to stand in the passport control line for about three and a half hours and with her waiting on the other side for all that time, didn't make the wait any more pleasant.

We had a very wonderful time together, we did have some difficulties speaking to each other, but that only needed time. I was pretty sure during our first meeting that she was the one I was supposed to be with. After we visited Kazan we went to meet her wonderful and nice parents. I felt like I was at home. We had a very difficult parting, but we kept up with the letters, and gradually calling, every once in a while, to eventually me calling her everyday. We decided that after that difficult parting we didn't want to have anymore so, we got engaged!

One day on the phone I think it was in January, after we both had a bad New Year alone she told me she couldn't be without me. The next day I called and woke her up to tell her I needed her to meet me in Moscow because I would be arriving the 12th of February in Moscow, she cried. She woke her mom after I called and cried with her mom until she went to bed at 1 am. We met again in February and went to St. Petersburg to spend Valentine-s Day together. But again a very difficult parting and the worst part, not knowing how much longer the INS must take after submitting everything to them by November. Finally late March or April we got notice of the Embassy interview. Of course I went to her again to make sure that she was comforted, safe, and had no problems beginning her new life in America.

Zhanna told me that if I had not sent her the bear, and met her in February, she didn't know what she would have done. We arrived together in Seattle, she didn't seem to have a big culture shock, but all the little differences made some things difficult. Surprisingly we got a wedding successfully planned, arranged, and enjoyed all within 2 months! We were married August 3, 2002. Zhanna is the most wonderful, beautiful, and considerate person I have ever met, and forever will not be long enough for the two of us to be together. Also I am grateful that our age is so near I was born July 8, 1981 and Zhanna was born July 12, 1981. After some time together alone on our honeymoon we realized that our souls are very, very near. I am not sure if I would have met her or not if it weren't for your Russian bride agency, Pretty Russian Woman, but I am very glad I did!
